Analog Gauge Reader
Read the dial. Keep the evidence.
Calibrate an analog gauge from a reference image, read its needle from a photo or video frame, review confidence, make an explicit correction, and keep a timestamped log. The free tier is useful offline; an optional lifetime Pro unlock expands review and export.

Workflow
Make the calibration yours.
The app keeps geometry, scale, uncertainty, and edits visible so a photo-derived number never pretends to be more than the source supports.
Calibrate a dial
Set the center, ellipse, sweep direction, minimum and maximum values, units, and optional nonlinear tick anchors from a clear reference image.
Read and review
Use a photo or video frame, or send up to twenty still photos through Pro batch logging. Perspective suggestions and radial needle evidence run on-device; glare, blur, occlusion, and weak geometry can make the app abstain. Pro adds sampled-frame review and temporal smoothing.
Correct and export
Enter a manual value when needed. The automatic estimate remains in the record with correction history. The free tier includes three profiles and twenty readings; Pro adds unlimited logs and JSON/CSV export.
Clear boundary
A documentation aid, not a safety instrument.
Analog Gauge Reader does not infer operational limits, declare machinery safe, or control equipment. Verify critical values with the appropriate certified instrument and the manufacturer's instructions.
Privacy
Your images stay on your device.
Calibration, analysis, profiles, and logs are local by default. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Images leave the app only when you choose an iOS share destination.
