Rocket Lab is an offline-first learning app. The quickest way to get help is to include your device model, iOS version, app version, and the steps that led to the problem.

Import problems

Save the file in Files before importing. Rocket Lab accepts native .rocketlab/.json projects, RASP .eng motor files, and a bounded store-only subset of .ork designs. Files must be no larger than 2 MB. Remote URLs, compressed archives, unsupported OpenRocket features, invalid values, and files containing executable-looking content are rejected or reported with compatibility notes.

Unexpected flight results

Check the assumptions card and model notes first. The simulator is a deterministic vertical 1D educational model with simplified drag, rail, stability, wind, and recovery behavior. It is not launch approval, safety advice, manufacturer data, or professional engineering software.

Files and privacy

Projects and imported curves stay on the device unless you choose a share destination. Read the privacy policy for the complete data-handling summary.
