Include useful context

Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, the screen you were using, and the exact error category shown by the app. Do not email material photos or archives unless support specifically requests one.

Camera or QR access

If camera access is unavailable, use the Photos picker or enter the printed lmp:1:<UUID> payload manually. A QR code opens a record only when that passport already exists in the local library.

Backups and conflicts

Export a verified archive before moving or deleting a library. Imports validate checksums and attachments first. If a record ID has changed content, choose whether to keep the local record or replace passport identity fields; historical observation conflicts are never silently replaced.

Safety boundary

Material Passport is a recordkeeping tool. It does not determine whether a material is suitable for laser processing or recommend machine settings. Follow supplier documentation and your shop’s safety process.
