Engine Lab is a touch-first virtual engine simulator. This policy explains what the app accesses, stores, and does not collect.

On-device simulation and microphone comparison

Engine Lab calculates the engine state and generates procedural sound on your device. If you choose Microphone comparison, the app requests microphone access and analyzes the bounded capture in memory on the device. Raw microphone audio is not uploaded or retained as a saved recording.

No account, analytics, ads, or tracking

Engine Lab requires no account and includes no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs. Cognerva does not collect personal data through the app.

Local app data

The prototype does not send simulation settings or engine state to Cognerva. Any future saved data will remain subject to the version of this policy that accompanies that feature.

Your control

Revoke any permission in iOS Settings.
Delete Engine Lab to remove its local app data from the device.
