DeCiv is an independent iOS port of Unciv. This policy explains how the app handles game data, mods, multiplayer connections, support requests, and optional purchases.

No Cognerva account or advertising profile

DeCiv does not require a Cognerva account and does not include advertising or an advertising profile. Game state, settings, saves, and imported mods are stored locally on your device unless you choose an iOS sharing or file destination.

Multiplayer and external services

If you choose multiplayer, the game sends the game data required by the multiplayer server you select. That server's operator controls its own data practices. DeCiv does not operate that server or receive your multiplayer data through the app.

Support

If you contact support, Cognerva receives the information you choose to include in your message. The in-app contact action can prefill the app version, platform, and language to help troubleshoot a problem; you can edit or remove that information before sending.

Optional purchases

Supporter and tip purchases are processed by Apple's App Store services. DeCiv receives the StoreKit transaction result needed to unlock the selected iOS extras and stores that entitlement locally. Cognerva does not receive your payment card or App Store billing details.

Your control

• Use the app without purchasing supporter extras.
• Choose whether to connect to multiplayer or open a support link.
• Delete the app to remove its local app data, subject to iOS backups and files you separately exported.
