Three Body: Gravity Chaos is an iPhone and iPad app for exploring the three-body problem. This policy explains what the app stores, what it can share when you choose to, and what it does not collect.

What stays on your device

The app keeps a small amount of information in local app storage: your settings (sound, haptics, the chaos twin display), the orbit you last viewed, the discoveries you have found in the Atlas, which Daily Orbits you have watched and your streak, and whether Pro is unlocked. None of this is sent to Cognerva.

No accounts, analytics, ads, or tracking

Three Body does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking. Cognerva does not collect personal data through the app. The simulation, the chaos map, and posters and videos are all computed on your device.

Permissions

The app does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or location. Sound is played through your device speaker or headphones, and haptic feedback uses the device's haptic engine. You can turn either off in the app.

Purchases

Three Body Pro is an optional one-time purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. Cognerva does not receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple so it can restore Pro on your devices.

Sharing

Posters, videos, and orbit seeds are created on your device. They leave it only when you choose to share them through the iOS share sheet, and then they go where you send them.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can turn sound and haptics off at any time in the app.
Deleting Three Body removes its locally stored app data from the device.
