Steam Engine Lab is an offline educational simulation. This policy explains what the app stores and what it does not collect.

On-device simulation and saved runs

The simulation, guided experiments, settings, saved runs, and replays are processed and stored locally on your device. Steam Engine Lab does not require an account and does not send this information to Cognerva.

Exports

You choose whether and where to share an exported JSON or CSV file. The app does not upload exports automatically.

No tracking, analytics, or advertising

The app contains no advertising, analytics, profiling, or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not collect personal data, precise location, contacts, health data, microphone recordings, camera data, or photos.

Your control

Delete saved runs inside the app.
Choose whether and where to export a file.
Delete the app to remove its local data from the device.
