Room Decay Analyzer is a local-first iPhone app for estimating room decay from audio. This policy explains what the app accesses and stores.

Microphone and imported audio

The app uses the microphone only after you start a capture. Audio is processed on the device to calculate decay metrics. Imported WAV, AIFF, and CAF files are read only after you choose them. Cognerva does not receive microphone recordings or imported files.

Local reports

If you save a report, the app stores measurement results, fit details, quality notes, and timestamps in local app storage. JSON, CSV, and text exports are created only when you choose to share them. The app does not sync these records to Cognerva.

No account, ads, analytics, or tracking

Room Decay Analyzer does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics SDKs, tracking systems, or third-party network services. The bundled public impulse-response demo is an app asset; it does not trigger a network request.

Your control

Stop a capture at any time in the app.
Revoke microphone permission in iOS Settings.
Delete the app to remove its local reports and captured data.
