Negaflow is a local-first iPhone and iPad app for developing film scans. The short version: scans and generated positives stay on your device unless you explicitly share or save them elsewhere.

Files you choose

Negaflow uses the iOS Files picker to access image files you select. It supports common scan formats including TIFF, DNG, JPEG, HEIF, and PNG. The app copies selected files into its private local library so the original file is not overwritten.

Local processing and storage

Frame detection, calibration, previews, development, contact sheets, and export manifests are generated on-device. The app stores roll settings and private source and derived files in its local application storage. Negaflow does not require an account or upload scans to Cognerva for processing.

Sharing and export

TIFFs, JPEGs, contact sheets, and processing manifests leave the app only when you use the iOS share or save controls. The destination is selected by you through the standard iOS sharing interface.

No ads or tracking

Negaflow does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking systems. It does not send scan images or processing data to Cognerva.

Your control

• You can delete rolls, source copies, and generated files from inside the app.
• You can clear generated files while keeping the private source copies.
• You choose whether any exported file is shared or saved outside the app.
