Machine Vibration Analyst is an on-device measurement and comparison tool. This policy explains what the app accesses, what it stores, and what it does not collect.

Microphone and motion access

The app accesses the microphone or device motion sensors only after you choose a capture mode and grant iOS permission. Samples are analyzed on the device. Cognerva does not receive, upload, or retain microphone recordings or motion streams on a server.

Imported files and saved sessions

You may choose WAV or CSV files through the iOS document picker. Selected files are read locally for analysis. If you save a machine or session, the app stores the labels, context, calculated result, and optional notes in local app storage on your device. Reports are created only when you explicitly export them.

No accounts, analytics, ads, or tracking

The app does not require an account and contains no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking systems, or network service for measurement processing. Cognerva does not collect personal data through the app.

Your control

Stop a capture at any time from the Measure screen.
Change microphone and motion permissions in iOS Settings.
Delete saved sessions in the app or remove the app to delete its local data.
Choose whether and where to share an exported JSON or CSV report.
