Lulliq
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
Lulliq is a baby cry monitor app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used. The short version: cry detection runs on your device and nursery audio is not uploaded for cry detection.
Microphone
Lulliq uses the microphone to listen for infant crying. Audio is processed entirely on-device using Apple's SoundAnalysis framework. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is only active while monitoring is running.
Cry history
When a cry is detected, a timestamp and duration are saved locally on your device in standard iOS app storage. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with anyone. You can delete it at any time from the Reports tab.
Settings
App preferences such as sensitivity, lullaby choice, and baby name are stored locally on your device. They are not synced, transmitted, or shared.
Notifications
Lulliq uses notifications for monitoring status and paired nursery alerts. Local monitoring status notifications are generated on-device. If you pair a nursery iPhone with a parent iPhone, cry alerts are delivered through Apple's notification service.
No analytics, no ads, no accounts
Lulliq contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and requires no account or sign-in of any kind.
Children
Lulliq is designed for use by parents and caregivers. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data about children.
