Leather Pattern Digitizer
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Leather Pattern Digitizer photographs or imports a flat pattern so it can calibrate, trace, edit, and export geometry. This policy explains what the app accesses, stores, and does not collect.
Camera and photos
The app accesses only the image you capture or select for a project. Image decoding, reference detection, perspective correction, contour suggestions, and measurements run on-device. Cognerva does not receive or upload source images.
Local projects
Project names, source images, calibration corners, transforms, editable geometry, quality measurements, warnings, marks, exports, and revision history are stored in the app's local Application Support storage. They are not synced to Cognerva or shared automatically.
Exports and sharing
PDF, SVG, JSON, and calibration-guide files are created locally. They leave the app only when you select an iOS share destination. The privacy practices of that destination apply after you share.
No account, analytics, ads, or tracking
The app does not require an account and is designed without advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking systems. We do not sell or use pattern images for advertising.
Network use
The digitizing workflow does not require a Cognerva server connection. If you open a support, privacy, or App Store link, your browser or iOS handles that destination outside the core workflow.
Your control
- Delete projects from the project list.
- Revoke camera or photo permissions in iOS Settings.
- Choose whether to export or share any project image or geometry.
- Deleting the app removes local app data, subject to device backups you manage separately.
