Audio Latency Tester
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Audio Latency Tester measures timing between explicit flash, click, channel, or acoustic probe events. This policy explains the device access and local storage used by the app.
Camera and microphone access
The camera is used only when you choose Record to capture a target display. The microphone is used when you record a target or start an acoustic return measurement. The app analyzes the selected media and audio samples on device; Cognerva does not receive or store those recordings.
Imported files and exports
When you choose a file, the app copies it into its private on-device app storage for analysis. Generated patterns, JSON/CSV reports, and recorded media remain local unless you explicitly use the iOS share sheet or Files picker to export them.
Saved sessions
If you save a session, the app stores the measurement result, event associations, timing metadata, and report JSON in local SwiftData storage on your device. These records are not synced to Cognerva.
No accounts, analytics, ads, or tracking
Audio Latency Tester does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not send measurement content to a server.
Your control
- You can deny or revoke camera and microphone permission in iOS Settings.
- You can delete saved sessions inside the app or delete the app to remove its local storage.
- You control every share/export action through the iOS share sheet.
